Christmas is one of the busiest times of the year—especially for carriers and shipping companies, who need to make sure your customers get a sparkle in their eyes when they open their Christmas presents on Christmas Eve.
Each carrier has some recommended deadlines for pick-up/drop-off shipments, so that the Christmas presents can arrive before 24 December.
We’ve summed up the most important ones for you here:
Christmas delivery deadlines in Denmark
If your business is in Denmark and you need to send packages to Danish recipients, you have multiple options with Shipmondo. You can send packages with PostNord, GLS, Bring, dao, DHL Express, UPS, and Danske Fragtmænd.

Deadline for sending packages to:
- Denmark: 20th December
- Bornholm: 19th December
- Sweden: 17th December
- Norway: 12th December
- Finland: 15th December
- Europe: 9th December
- Rest of the world: 25th November
GLS Denmark
- Denmark: 20th December
- Belgium, Estonia, France, Holland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Poland, Switzerland, Sweden, Czech, Germany, Austria: 16th December
- Finland, Ireland, Italy, Croatia, Northern Ireland, Norway, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Great Britain, Hungary: 13th December
- Bulgaria, Greece, Portugal: 12th December
Bring Denmark
Deadline for sending packages to:
- Denmark: 21st December
- Sweden: 20th December
- Norway: 18th December
- Finland: 18th December

Christmas delivery deadlines in Norway
In Norway you can send packages with PostNord and Bring.
PostNord Norway
Deadline for national delivery in Norway is the 15th December.
Bring Norway
Deadline for national delivery in Norway is between 16th-19th December.
Deadline for international delivery for Pickup Parcels:
- Sweden and Denmark: 12th December
- The rest of the North: 12th December
- Romania, Rusia: 28th November
- Albania: 29th November
- Bulgaria, Greece, Ukraine: 2nd December
- The rest of Europe: 9th December
- USA: 25th November

Christmas delivery deadlines in Sweden
If you use Shipmondo in Sweden, you can send packages with DHL Freight and UPS domestically in Sweden.
DHL Freight Sweden
For national DHL Servicepoint:
Delivery before Christmas – last pickup 19th December. Delivery before New years – last pickup 27th December.
UPS Sweden
UPS hasn’t updated their deadlines yet.
