Christmas delivery deadlines 2022
We give you an overview of the carriers' Christmas deadlines, so you can make sure that your customers get their packages before Christmas Eve.
Christmas is one of the busiest times of the year - especially for carriers and shipping companies who need to make sure your customers get a Christmas sparkle in their eyes when they can pack up their Christmas presents on Christmas Eve. Each carrier has some recommended deadlines for pick-up/drop-off shipments, so that the Christmas presents can arrive before 24 December.

Christmas delivery deadlines in Denmark

Christmas delivery deadlines in Norway
Through Shipmondo, you can ship domestically in Norway with PostNord and Bring.
Bring Christmas delivery times
Bring expects large parcel volumes for Christmas. Therefore, they have added extra production days and extended the delivery time for some of their services.
Most parcels sent in Norway are delivered within 1-3 days, but they advise you to send them a little earlier just before Christmas. The deadlines vary according to service and destination but they expect to deliver your packages as usual before mid-December.
Parcels
- Deadline between 19 and 21 December. The delivery deadline before Christmas depends on the zip code. See more here.
- Expect +1 day for the delivery time during the period 21 November 2022 to 1 January 2023.
- Home Deliveries are extended to 15-22 from 14 November 2022.
Bring has extended their parcel box network, so, by the end of the year, they will have parcel boxes in more than 1,600 locations around Norway.

PostNord Christmas delivery times
PostNord recommends that you send your Christmas packages before Friday 16 December and before 16:00 (4 PM) at the latest.
From 24-26 December they are closed and no packages will be delivered. The same applies on 31 December and 1 January 2023. On 2 January 2023, there is normal distribution but with reduced delivery frequency. PostNord will return to normal on 3 January 2023.
PostNord points out that delays may occur due to busyness.
- MyPack Collect can take up to 2 days extra to be delivered in the period 21 November to 31 December.
- MyPack Home (home deliveries) can take up to 1 day extra to be delivered in the period 11 December to 31 December.
PostNord’s Pickup Points are open for collection between 09:00 and 13:00 on Christmas Eve, and 10:00 and 14:00 on New Year’s Eve.
