Design your pick lists, pick path lists and packing slips exactly the way you want with the Shipmondo Document Designer.
Have you always dreamed of being able to design your pick lists, pick path lists or packing slips exactly the way you want them? Then there is good news, because with our new feature, the Document Designer, you can design your documents exactly the way you want.
You can remove information, rearrange columns and add elements such as barcodes, QR codes, weight and much more. This gives you full freedom to change your documents visually and set them up on your own terms.
In this way, you can design the documents exactly as you want and display the specific information you want your customers to receive on packing slips and your employees to have on pick lists and pick path lists.
Use templates or design it yourself
Right now, we offer the option to change the design of three types of documents.

Pick list
If you pick using pick lists, this means that a pick list is printed for every order that comes into your webshop. The pick list shows, among other things, which items are included in the order, the quantity ordered, and where the items are located in your warehouse.
With the Document Designer, you can for example add the item weight or barcodes for each item line, ensuring that you pick the correct items.
Pick path list
If you instead use pick path lists for your pick and pack process, this means that you can pick up to 16 orders at the same time. When using a pick path list, it shows all items for all selected orders, where they are located, which picking boxes you need to place the items in, as well as an optimized route to avoid wasted time.
With the Shipmondo Document Designer, you can add product images, barcodes for order checks or a “shipped” field if it is a partial delivery and part of the order has already been sent.
Packing slip
When you are finished picking the items for a single order and mark it as completed, a packing slip is printed containing relevant product information. The packing slip can be included with the order when you ship the package to your customer.
Here, you can use the Document Designer to add more recipient information, price per item or a QR code to make any potential return easier for all parties. Especially if you use the Shipmondo Return Portal.
When you are logged in to your Shipmondo account, you can select the document you want to change the design of under Document Designer. For some of the documents, we have predefined templates that you can use as a starting point.
Under Packing slip, you can choose between four templates, and under Pick list, you can choose between two.
It is also possible to design everything yourself. However, to change the design, it requires that you, your developer or one of your partners can use HTML and Liquid.

Adapt to all markets with translations
It is also possible to translate the documents. By default, the language on the packing slips is selected based on the recipient country, if the language is set up on your account. If the language is not set up, for example if you do not ship many packages there, the documents will be created in the language you have chosen as your primary language.
The primary language is English by default, but it can easily be changed to your preferred primary language in your Shipmondo account.
By setting up multiple languages, you can quickly adapt to new markets and countries by giving them a more personal experience through delivering documents in their native language.
