Shipmondo builds premises: A modern workplace

On this page

Shipmondo is building a modern workplace to make room for continued growth and attract competent employees with an attractive working environment.

Things are moving quickly at Shipmondo. Last year, 2020, we received both an e-commerce award and a Gazelle award after a growth of 906.6% and we ranked as the 22nd fastest-growing company in Denmark in 2020.

Now Shipmondo is ready to focus on creating a future-proof, modern workplace that will create a good environment for the employees’ well-being and provide space to take the business to a new level. Shipmondo is building new premises, which are expected to be completed in the autumn of 2021.

Shipmondo is building premises

The first turf has been cut on the 12,000 m2 plot and the construction of Shipmondo’s premises has begun. The new building, which will initially be just over 900 m2, is strategically located in Odense SØ, close to both the freeway and the University of Southern Denmark. It will ensure that there is room for continued growth and, at the same time, draw competent employees to an attractive workplace.

Here are Shipmondos two founders Nicklas Nguyen and Hung Ho together with the project construction manager on the construction site: Shipmondos new building

A modern workplace

There will be plenty of room for differences in the new building, which will be divided into two floors, with an open connection between the two levels.

It is inspired by a campus spirit, with open, modern spaces. At the same time, there has been a focus on creating an environment where growth and creativity go hand in hand, so that the freight solutions of the future will be secured and developed in Shipmondo.

With a modern room layout and open areas for canteen, social activities and joint meetings, an agreeable everyday environment has been designed into the construction. The same applies to outdoor areas.

A future-proof project

The project will create the framework for Shipmondo’s current employees, but also for those of the future.

It has been a central objective of Shipmondo’s two founders, Hung Ho and Nicklas Nguyen, that the workplace should also have room for the future. It is an investment in building a foundation that will ensure attractive conditions for Shipmondo’s organization for many years to come.

For this reason, in embarking on the work on the 12,000 m2 plot, full consideration has been given to the requirement to be able to expand the building and scale the business when the need arises.
