Shipmondo named Gazelle company 2020
We are pleased to announce that we have received the Børsen Gazelle Prize 2020
It is with great humility and pride that we are able to say that we have received the Danish Børsen Gazelle Award 2020. We are pleased that our mission to make freight management easy, efficient and cheap for companies is bearing fruit.
A big thank you goes to our skilled and ambitious employees, our partners and, not least, all our customers. It would not have been possible without you.
Gazelle company 2020
Every year since 1995, the Danish Dagbladet Børsen has identified Denmark’s fastest-growing companies and named them ”Gazelles”.
A Gazelle company is a company that has delivered continuous growth over the past four financial years and has also doubled its revenue or gross profit during the period. Gazelles must be understood as role models that create jobs, growth and optimism.
With its top speed of over 100 km/h, a gazelle is one of the fastest animals in the world. At Shipmondo, we also work at a high velocity and gradually approach a top speed of 100 km/h – especially when cake is being served.
We are therefore proud on so many levels to receive the Gazelle Award, and are very ambitious to continue developing, so that hopefully this will not be the last time Shipmondo is on the list.
Record accounting: 60% growth
In the last couple of years, the demand for freight has been rising sharply, not only in Denmark but gradually also in the Nordic countries – and, especially over the past year, we have been busy. The bottom line shows a 60% increase in growth since the previous year, which has meant that Shipmondo was obliged to expand its staff – and that was despite COVID-19.
Over the past year, Shipmondo has expanded by 80% and now consists of 18 dedicated employees who, on a daily basis, help make it as easy and efficient as possible for companies to handle freight and ship packages worldwide.
Cool features and happy customers drive the business
Shipmondo is more than just freight. We grow as our customers grow and, at the time of writing, are approaching 40,000 companies that use our platform. This has made it all the more important for us to constantly create features and solutions that can help companies in their daily work.
This means that we have developed features such as order integration, bookkeeping integration, a freight module, a return portal, package monitoring and personalized messages, and will in the future continue to develop services and products that will make the daily work faster and easier.
