It is now possible to set up and manage translations directly in Shipmondo, so you can work systematically with documents in multiple languages - both for internal teams and customers across different markets.
Which documents can be translated?
Translations can be used across key documents in your order and picking flow, including:
- Packing slips
- Picking lists
- Pick route sheets
The translations are based on translation keys, which represent the texts used on the documents. The same key can be reused across multiple document types, ensuring consistent wording regardless of language.
Full control over languages and key texts
You decide:
- which language should be your primary language
- which languages should be supported with translations
- which document types each translation key should be used on
In the overview, you can continuously see how many keys have been created, which languages are available, and what percentage of keys have been translated in each language.
To get started quickly, you can use the automatic translation feature. After that, you can always fine-tune the texts manually to match your tone of voice and terminology.
Combine Translations with Document Designer
Translations are built to work hand in hand with Document Designer.
You can:
- design the layout and content of your documents to match your warehouse flow and brand
- reuse the same translation keys across design variants and languages
- scale the setup as you expand into new markets
If you create new tags or texts in your documents, they can easily be linked to translation keys, helping you avoid manual maintenance and ensuring consistent wording.
