DHL Freight: New services for scheduled pickup and delivery

Shipmondo now supports two new value-added services for DHL Freight Denmark and Sweden.

Time slot booking - pickup

• Pickup takes place within a predefined time window.
• When this service is selected, DHL will contact the sender to agree on the specific pickup time.

Time slot booking - delivery

• Delivery takes place within a predefined time window.
• When this service is selected, DHL will contact the recipient to agree on the delivery time.
• The time window may be shorter or longer than 2 hours.
• Deliveries within less than 2 hours require a separate agreement.

If you would like more information about these services, please contact the carrier directly, as they require a direct shipping agreement with DHL Freight.

When booking via API, the following service codes should be used in your Create shipment request:

• TIME_SLOT_PICKUP for Time slot booking – pickup
• TIME_SLOT_DELIVERY for Time slot booking – delivery
