PostNord: Home shipments delivered without contact

PostNord Home shipments are now delivered without a direct recipient by default.

As a new change from 2026, PostNord Home shipments will by default be delivered without direct contact. PostNord will therefore normally leave the parcel in the mailbox or at the door.

If customers want the parcel to be received by a person at the address, a new service must be selected: Attended or one of the existing services:

  • ID check
  • Receipt required
  • Age check

This change only applies to shipments sent between Sweden, Norway, and Finland, as well as shipments sent from Denmark to the other Nordic countries.

Additionally, the Delivery without POD service (service code FLEX) has been removed from this product.

For API users only

When booking via API, the following product code ATTENDED should be used in your Create shipment request, or one of these services:

  • ID_VERIFICATION for ID check
  • SIGNATURE_ASSURANCE for Receipt required
  • AGE_VERIFICATION for Age check
