Shipmondo MCP: Connect Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants to Shipmondo

Shipmondo has launched an MCP server, so AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini can work directly in your Shipmondo account. MCP is the standard assistants use to connect to other systems. You write in plain English, e.g. “What does a 2 kg package to Hamburg cost?”, “Put order 12345 on hold” or “How many packages did we send with PostNord in September?”, and the assistant answers or does it in your account. How to connect the assistant

You add Shipmondo as a custom connector in your AI assistant using the address https://mcp.shipmondo.com/mcp. The account owner then logs in to Shipmondo and approves the connection on a page that shows which service is requesting access. It takes a few minutes. Under Settings › Integrations › MCP in Shipmondo, you can see the connected assistants, who connected them, and when they were last used. You can also remove a connection here.

What the assistant can do

Shipmondo’s MCP server gives the assistant access to, among other things:

• find carriers, products and parcel shops
• give a price overview and exact prices
• create drafts, and book, find and cancel shipments
• find, create, edit and send orders
• give statistics and show balance and transactions
• maintain the item catalog
• order pickups and print
• read setup and manage webhooks

The order features require Order Management, and printing requires the Print Client.

Good to know

Note! Only the account owner can connect an assistant. The connection has the same access as an API key, and there is no read-only access. The assistant can therefore edit orders and book shipments, and bookings are charged to the account as usual.

If the same booking is repeated within 10 minutes, it is not booked again.
