The entire logistics operation runs through Shipmondo. LoadedShop uses Shipmondo Digital Pick Path for pick and pack, automatically prints labels via our Print Client, and manages returns with our Return Portal. The webshop runs on Shopify, which works directly with Shipmondo, so orders flow automatically from checkout to shipment.
From physical picking lists to digital picking
Before LoadedShop consolidated their pick and pack processes in Shipmondo, the workflows were characterized by several manual steps and system switches. Order information had to be transferred manually between systems, which both took time and increased the risk of errors.
As part of the switch to Shipmondo Digital Picking, LoadedShop acquired handheld terminals. On the screen, employees can check off items as they go, and when the pick path is complete, the label is printed and the order is processed. The system manages the rest in the background.
The result is a faster and more accurate process where errors are minimized. And at the same time, it has become far easier to train new employees, because they follow an easy, visual path based on simple steps rather than handwritten lists. In addition, they use filtering to navigate their orders.
Everything has become faster and more accurate, and we've reduced the number of errors significantly. With the digital solution, you just check off the items, print the label and process the order, and then everything behind the scenes is taken care of. We've saved around a quarter of the work on that part alone, says Bo Engving, co-owner of LoadedShop.

Had the logistics required more manual work, there would have needed to be more hands in the warehouse to keep up with the growth of recent years.
