We’ve updated how delivery methods and pickup points are displayed in Shipmondo Delivery Checkout for Shopify, giving your customers an even more streamlined and user-friendly checkout experience.
At the same time, you get a flexible setup that supports international growth, Shopify Markets, and the need for localized delivery experiences across markets.
A simpler, more user-friendly checkout experience
When customers choose a delivery option at checkout, clarity is everything.
That’s why we’ve simplified the display of both delivery methods and pickup points, so customers can see more quickly where their parcel will be delivered and which carrier it ships with.
Flexible delivery method control with custom display templates, built for international markets
The default display is now simpler and more streamlined, but you still have full control over how your delivery methods appear in the Shopify checkout.
With custom display templates, you can customize both the name and the description of your delivery methods using Liquid and dynamic variables. This is especially useful if:
- You use multiple Shopify Markets in different languages and want localized delivery options.
- You sell to foreign markets where your primary carrier uses local carriers for last-mile delivery.
- You want full control over how the carrier, delivery type, pickup point, distance, and address are shown at checkout.

This makes it easier to offer a professional, localized checkout experience across markets, without having to build separate, manual solutions for each language.
It’s important that delivery options feel local and easy to understand for the customer. That’s why Shipmondo now automatically translates terms for pickup points, home delivery, business delivery, “ships with”, and more into 21 languages. If the customer’s language isn’t supported, English is used as a fallback.
